Sting Announce Partnership with Tim Hortons

The Sarnia Sting and Sarnia Tim Hortons Restaurant Owners were pleased to announce a new three-year partnership at the Tim Hortons restaurant on London Road earlier today.  The new agreement coincides with the Sting’s 20th Anniversary season and it significantly enhances the interaction between the two partners!

The partnership, which extends through the 2016-17 Regular Season, is one that both sides are thrilled to be a part of.  “From Timbits Minor Hockey to the NHL, Tim Hortons has a long standing history with Hockey.  It is in this spirit that our Sarnia Restaurant Owners are pleased to partner with the Sarnia Sting,” contends Shauna Duff, Regional Marketing Manager – Sarnia Tim Hortons.

Throughout the next three seasons fans will be excited to find out that a specialty Sarnia Sting Donut will be available on game days, and fans can purchase their Sarnia Sting Tim’s Cards at local Tim Hortons restaurants.  Also, Tim Hortons will be bringing Timbits mini-games back to the Sarnia Sting intermissions as well as interactive promotional stoppages as part of the partnership.

Sarnia Sting, VP of Sales & Marketing, Brian Prout speaks to the meaning of partnering up with Tim Hortons. “We’re very proud to have come to a three-year agreement, and it’s something our fans should be excited about as well. Tim Hortons has proven themselves to be synonymous with hockey in Canada and we feel that the partnership will be a fantastic fit for both sides heading forward.”
