Finch Ford Battle of the 402
A premiere rivalry in the Ontario Hockey League, the Finch Ford Battle of the 402 brings the junior hockey communities of Sarnia & London, Ontario together at both ends of ON Highway 402 in what is a spirited and combative season series each OHL campaign.
In 2023, the Sting Knights rivalry gets taken to a new level as Finch Ford presents the Battle of the 402. An annual season series in which the Sting, Knights along with Finch Auto Group dealerships in Sarnia and London compete each year to be crowned Battle of the 402 champions.
The team that wins the annual six (6) regular season game series will have their team name along with leading series point scorer engraved on the trophy, while it is held on display on the winning city Finch Auto dealership. If the season series is tied after the six regular season games, the team with the greater goal differential in the series will be crowned winner.
The collaborative contest begins with the annual Holiday double header, as Game 1 goes Friday, December 30th in Sarnia.
