Sting Sign Second Round Selection Defenceman James Barr

Sarnia Sting General Manager Dylan Seca announced this afternoon that the Hockey Club has signed 6β1β, 163-pound defenceman James Barr to an Ontario Hockey League (OHL) Standard Player Agreement.
The 15-year-old Oakville, Ontario native was selected by the Sting in the second round of the 2023 OHL Priority Selection last month. During his draft year, the smooth skating right-shot defenceman recorded 7 goals and 31 assists through 36 regular season games played in addition to 3 goals and 3 assists through 8 playoffs games for the Burlington Eagles U16 AAA team.
On the addition of Barr, Seca comments:
