Sting Acquire 6’5″ Forward Brenden Anderson from Bulldogs

Sarnia Sting General Manager Dylan Seca announced this morning that the Hockey Club has acquired 19-year-old forward Brenden Anderson from the Hamilton Bulldogs in exchange for a 6th round pick in the 2026 Ontario Hockey League (OHL) Priority Selection.

Hailing from Ohsweken, Ontario, Anderson has collected two goals and two assists through 64 career OHL games played. Last season, the 6’5”, 203-pound left-shooting forward appeared in 12 playoff games with the Bulldogs, collecting a goal and an assist on route to the Club’s OHL Championship.

On the acquisition, Seca comments:

“Brenden is a big winger with the physical tools we believe are important down the stretch and into the playoffs. He is a player with some upside and more importantly has experienced the playoff grind and knows what it takes to be a champion. We are excited to welcome Brenden and the Anderson family to Sarnia.”

The Sting are set for an Eastern Conference road swing this weekend. The club will travel to Peterborough on Thursday to take on the Petes at 7:05pm before making stops in Kingston for a matchup with the Frontenacs on Friday and Ottawa to face the 67’s on Sunday afternoon.
