Finch Ford Lincoln to Carry on the Teddy Bear Toss Tradition

A game circled on the calendar each and every year the Sarnia Sting Teddy Bear Toss s one of the most anticipated of the season. An opportunity for the Sarnia Sting and fans,  in partnership with Finch Ford Lincoln and the Salvation Army to help provide a Christmas gift to youth in our community who may not have one otherwise.

The 2022 Teddy Bear Toss is set for Sunday, December 4th at 2:05pm when the Sting welcome the visiting Barrie Colts to the Hive.

The magical event, unites our community with a giving spirit as the capacity crowd floods the ice with plush toys when the Sting score their first goal of the evening, the bears are then collected, counted and distributed to local charities throughout the Sarnia-:Lambton area.

To date over 75,000 stuffed toys have been collected and distributed to homes across our community.

Finch Ford Lincoln is thrilled to be able take over the reins and build upon the relationship created between Lambton Ford and the Sarnia Sting in continuing with this years Teddy Bear Toss game.   Each year, the Sarnia Sting Teddy Bear Toss is one of the most anticipated events of the season.   The Sarnia Sting, in partnership with Finch Ford Lincoln and the Salvation Army, provide an opportunity for fans to help provide a Christmas gift to youth in our community.  This amazing event, unites our community with a giving spirit as the capacity crowd floods the ice with stuffed toys when the Sting score their first goal of the afternoon.  The stuffed animals are then collected, counted and distributed to local charities who ensure the bears get to families in need!   Come join us December 4th as the Sting take on the Barrie Colts.

Only a select few will have the opportunity to engrave their name in Sarnia Sting history as the one to score “the goal” and to this date no member of the Sting has been able to repeat this feat. Sting forward, Nolan Burke will get his chance to be the first repeat Teddy Bear Toss goal scorer after finding the back of the net at last seasons special event.
