Sting Announce 5-year Extension with Badder Bus

Sarnia Sting co-owners, Derian Hatcher and David Legwand announced today that they have signed a 5-year partnership extension with the club’s transportation provider, Badder Bus.

Badder has been providing transportation services for the club since its inception in 1994. Doug Badder comments on today’s announcement, “Badder Bus is excited to continue our long relationship as the official motorcoach company of the Sarnia Sting, a relationship that goes all the way back to the club’s arrival in Sarnia.  We look forward to continuing to work with the Sting as both transportation provider and corporate partner.  Community involvement is a core value of both our organizations and we are proud of the Sting’s contributions to the Sarnia-Lambton community over the years, a community that has been so vital to the growth of Badder Bus.”

Aside from ensuring the Sting arrive safely for all 34 road games throughout the regular season, Badder Bus has been an integral force behind getting players out and into the community. For the past 3 seasons, alongside Scotiabank, Badder has co-sponsored the Community Tour which sees the Sting visit between 5 and 8 communities per year for an open practice and skate with the team.

Legwand comments on behalf of the ownership group, “Badder has been a great partner of the hockey club for many years now. Derian and I are excited about being able to make a 5-year commitment to Doug and continue our outstanding relationship with Badder Bus.”
